Grampians Peaks Trail

The Grampians Peaks Trail is a 160km, 12-night/13 day hike covering a variety of terrain of the Grampians (Gariwerd) National Park. Just a 25 minute drive from Horsham in the Wartook Valley, you can start this spectacular Trail at Mt Zero in the north and head south.  The trail passes over the summit of Mt Difficult (Gar), continues through Halls Gap with hiking highlights including Redman Bluff, Major Mitchell Plateau and Mt Abrupt before reaching Dunkeld in the south.

Along the way you will stay at unique hike-in campgrounds, climb dramatic mountain peaks with panoramic views, and hike along rugged rocky ridgelines. Experience a rich diversity of flora and fauna and the ancient Aboriginal culture of Gariwerd.
