Horsham to host the 2018 Millers Horsham Racing Cup on Sunday 21st October this is part of the spring racing carnival. Victorian Dragon Boat Regatta in Horsham on the Melbourne Cup Long Weekend. This spectacular, very colourful and vibrant event will be held on the Wimmera River the event will attract between 200 - 300 competitors and officials. Dragon Boats have an ornately carved dragon's head at the bow and tail in the stern. All boats are painted with scales whilst the paddles symbolically represent the dragon's claws.
