Smoke on the Water
Pull on your jumper, beanie and boots and celebrate the Maydale Reserve’s annual winter event on the King’s birthday long weekend. Welcoming visitors and locals to a smorgasboard of food trucks, some wineries, the local brewery, and a cocktail van.
With the Wimmera River as the backdrop (water), this family friendly event will also offer non-alcoholic options, a coffee van and live music all undercover in the Maydale Pavilion, providing a sweet Sunday afternoon vibe.
Families can enjoy the great outdoors around the fire drums (smoke) or the bonfire (smoke) and eat toasted marshmallows or perhaps participate in a game of giant Jenga!
Take a self-guided tour of the historic reserve visiting the Maydale Social Garden, The Cattle Shed and the old stables.
There will be activities for kids (pay as you go) including drawing on Horsham’s biggest chalkboard found in Maydale Pavilion!
