Goolum Goolum NAIDOC 2026 Art Exhibition
In its seventh year, Horsham Town Hall and Goolum Goolum Aboriginal Co-operative are pleased to present the Goolum Goolum NAIDOC 2026 Art Exhibition, held to coincide with national NAIDOC Week celebrations (5-12 July 2026). This exhibition includes a broad array of works and mediums, showcasing First Nations artists from across the region.
NAIDOC Week is a time where all Australians are encouraged to celebrate and recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture, history and achievements, participating and contributing to the oldest continuous living cultures on earth. This exhibition celebrates and responds to the theme: ’50 Years of Deadly’. This milestone theme marks half a century of NAIDOC Week, pays tribute to the Elders, activists, artists and communities who built and sustained the movement, and celebrates generations of strength, pride and cultural resilience.
Goolum Goolum is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation established in 1979, which today is dedicated to fostering cultural pride, delivering essential health, family and cultural services. Goolum Goolum programs & services take a holistic approach to improving the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of our local Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander communities, ensuring that all service delivery respects Aboriginal culture, history, and experience.
