Natimuk Heritage Trail & Map

Until the 1940’s an Aboriginal clan group known as the Djurite Balug, part Jardwadjali language group, lived in the area around Mount Arapiles.  The name Natimuk reportedly comes from the Jardwarjali word for little creek.
