Lake Toolondo (Reservoir)

Toolondo has consistently been a favoured destination for Trout and Redfin enthusiasts, with remarkable catches frequently reported. The reservoir provides excellent fishing opportunities, whether you prefer fly fishing, bait fishing, or lure fishing. The majority of fish, particularly trout, are caught through boat fishing around trees using bait like worms, gudgeon, and yabbies, or through spinning in open waters. The lake is also a popular spot for swimming and various boating activities.

At the northern end, there is a boat ramp and toilets. Camping facilities, including a privately operated park on the eastern shore, are available. It’s worth noting that the reservoir may experience low water levels.
