Dock Lake

Dock Lake is a beautiful freshwater lake located southeast of Horsham, surrounded by picturesque farmlands. With a sandy bottom, it is an ideal spot for fishing.

Covering an area of 215 hectares, the lake is situated just opposite Green Lake. Dock Lake provides excellent fishing opportunities for Rainbow Trout and Redfin. Recently, the lake has been stocked with rainbow trout yearlings, which is the first time since May 1997. The lake is full, so it is a great chance to stock rainbow trout.

It’s worth noting that when Dock Lake was last full, many decades ago, it was probably the most productive rainbow trout fishery in the Wimmera region, with superbly conditioned fish.
