Programs & Events
Nati Frinj Biennale
The Nati Frinj is a vibrant three-day festival held every two years in Natimuk, transforming the town into a hub of visual and performance art. Celebrating bold, experimental works and creative collaboration, Frinj invites locals and visitors alike to experience art in unexpected places—on the streets, in public spaces, and beyond. It’s Natimuk’s signature event, drawing audiences from near and far and showcasing the town as a centre for artistic innovation.
Held every second year in between Frinj fest
Natimuk Open Studios Art Trail
Held every second year in between Frinj festivals, NOSAT invites visitors into the working studios of Natimuk’s visual artists. This unique arts trail offers a behind-the-scenes look at how art is made, fostering connection, creativity, and cultural tourism. It’s a rare chance to meet the artists, explore their practices, and experience Natimuk’s thriving arts community up close.
Goatfest
A celebration of climbing, community & creative film
Goatfest is ACT Natimuk’s annual climbing film festival, held each Easter in Natimuk near the iconic Dyurrite (Mt. Arapiles). Established in 2002 by climber and artist Edwin Irvine, this volunteer-run event showcases short films that celebrate the spirit of climbing and the creative energy of the community.
Palais de Pixel
Community cinema that connects
Palais de Pixel is a monthly film society event bringing high-quality alternative and arthouse cinema to Natimuk. No need to travel for culture—just head to Nc2 for a night of exceptional films, shared experiences, and community connection.
