Kaleidoscope Community Gallery Exhibition – Information Evening
Horsham Regional Art Gallery invites local emerging and established LGBTQIA+ artists in the Wimmera to share their stories, challenge norms and express their identity through art.
Held in partnership with local organisations, the Community Gallery exhibition fosters dialogiue, visibility, and solidarity with and beyond our queer community.
The exhibition will be held in conjunction with the Horsham Regional Art Gallery exhibition; Kaleidoscope.
Kaleidoscope is an exhibition that explores the idea of queerness in its many forms. It embraces, celebrates and emphasizes the differences and experiences that have shaped the lives of those within this community from varied and diverse perspectives. Each artwork reflects life through a queer lens, and approaches the ideas explored in this exhibition as an expression of identity, desire and representation.
An information evening will be held about the exhibition for interested artists. Criteria for the exhibition along with shared ideas, outcomes and deadlines will be discussed at this meeting.
