The Public Art & Heritage Trail has been designed to walk you through the city’s historic areas, with a focus on artworks. Consider the trail as a way to explore our city. The trail has been divided into two district precincts, the Horsham town centre CBD trail and the Garden River trail. Download your copy here

Anzac Centenary Swing Walk Bridge and Horsham Walking Tracks
The Anzac Centenary Swing Walk Bridge crosses from the north side to the south side of the Wimmera River, the suspension bridge creates an additional opportunity linking walking tracks. Extend your walk and experience the beautiful Wimmera River which flows through the southern end of town with parklands and ancient red gum trees that line much of the riverbank. You will find a number of walking tracks and boardwalks through the surrounding wetlands. Take an easy stroll or petal your way along the river and find points of interest along the way.
Horsham Botanic Gardens
Designed in the 1870’s by Wiliam Guilfoyle, Curator of the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. The gardens features an amazing childrens playground with picnic facilities amongst established trees and well kept lawn areas. You will find public arts pieces and a large rose garden wtih the gardens area.
Horsham Regional Art Gallery
The gallery is home to a nationally significant collection of Australian photography charting to history from inception to today. Take a view to experience our nations changing face, see how artists depict the big sky of the Wimmera and our annual program of 18 exhibitions. The gallery is open Tues – Friday 10am to 5pm Sat 11am to 4.30pm, Sunday from 1 -4.00om. Closed Monday and public holidays.
Horsham Golf Club
The golf club has long had a reputation as one of the best golf courses in Victoria and Australia, it has regularly been listed in the top handful of courses in country Victoria and is consistently in the top 50 across Australia. With it open green fields and newly built club house, its a must visit even if just for a meal.
